The mostly nocturnal, cursorial Solifugae are among the least studied order of chelicerates. Brownell and Farley () investigated the malleoli but few have researched another interesting organ found at the tip of the palpus. Savory, , Cloudsley-Thompson, called it the suctorial organ while Muma, , Muma, a, Muma, b and Punzo () denoted it as the palpal by: A checklist of North American solifugae is presented along with their type localities, location of types, known numbers of specimens of each sex collected and the biomic distribution of each species. One hundred ninety-six solifugid species have been recorded in mainland North America, mostly from the United States. Forty-eight species are known from types only. Solpugida definition is - an order of hairy arachnids having a segmented thorax and abdomen, slender pedipalpi that resemble legs, and strong chelate chelicerae, showing in structure close relationship to the scorpions but breathing by means of tracheae and having no book lungs, and occurring widely in warm regions with the exception of Madagascar and Australia.   Genus is an adults-only furry fandom comic book anthology published by Sin Factory, which features many big names in furry erotica.. Genus began in June as a mature-readers comic book anthology series from Antarctic Press, as a kind of edgier companion to fans and contributors demanded a bit more, and the title very quickly switched to adults-only with the next issue.   The new species has a horn on the top of its mouthparts, something that no other species in North America has. "It was pretty easy to see that it was new," Savary said. The arachnologist plans to name the species after Actaeon, a mythical Greek hunter who was transformed into a stag.
